MIB System
System Name Users may rename this NetAgent to facilitate the identification and management of multiple units.
System Contact Fill in the manager's name here to ensure clear accountability and contact information for operations.
System Location Enter the installation location to facilitate rapid device location and troubleshooting by administrators during UPS failures.
SNMP UDP Port
This section is to set the SNMP and Trap port. (SNMP default is UDP161 ; Trap default port is UDP162)
SNMPv3 Engine ID
This section is to set the SNMPv3 Engine ID "Format Type" and "Text".
SNMP MIB File
Click the "Download" link on the right to download MIB file from NetAgent.
 
 
Manager IP Address This section is to set the IP address that the administrator can manage NetAgent from. It is valid for up to 8 IP addresses. To manage NetAgent from any IP address, enter *.*.*.* into "Manager IP address".
When entering an IPv6 address, make sure to enclose it in square brackets [] to meet the format requirements.
Version This section is to set SNMP versions.
When selected "All" or "V3", please click on to set the V3 security settings;
a. User Name -- This section is to set SNMP user's account.
b. Auth. Protocol -- This section is to select Authentication Protocol.
c. Auth. Password -- This section is to set Authentication Password.
d. Auth. Key -- This section is to set Authentication Key.
e. Privacy Protocol -- This section is to select Privacy Protocol.
f. Privacy Password -- This section is to set Privacy Password.
g. Privacy Key -- This section is to set Privacy Key.
Community This section is to set a Community name for NMS. The community name has to be as the same as the setting in NMS.
Permission This section is to set authorities of administrators. Options are Read, Read/Write, and No Access.
Description This section is for an administrator to make notes.
 
Trap Notification
Destination IP This section is to set receivers IP address for receiving traps sent by NetAgent. It is valid for up to 8 IP Addresses.
When entering an IPv6 address, make sure to enclose it in square brackets [] to meet the format requirements.
Accept This section is to set to receive a trap or not.
When selected "SNMPv3 Trap" or "SNMPv3 Inform", please click on to set the V3 security settings;
a. User Name -- This section is to set SNMP user's account.
b. Auth. Protocol -- This section is to select Authentication Protocol.
c. Auth. Password -- This section is to set Authentication Password.
d. Privacy Protocol -- This section is to select Privacy Protocol.
e. Privacy Password -- This section is to set Privacy Password.
Community This section is to set a Community name for NMS. The community name has to be as the same as the setting in NMS.
Trap Type To select between PPC or RFC1628.
Severity This section is to set Trap receiver levels. There are three levels of Trap receiver :
a: Information -- To receive all traps.
b: Warning -- To receive only "warning" and "severe" traps.
c: Severe -- To receive only "severe" traps.
(Please refer to NMS manual for Trap levels.)
Description This section is for an administrator to make notes.
Event This section is to select events for NetAgent to send traps. Clicking on "Select" will open a Select Events List. Event Traps may be selected from this list.
SNMP Inform Request
When "Accept" has been selected "SNMPv2 Inform" or "SNMPv3 Inform", please set "Number of Retries" and "Timeout (sec)" here.
 
 
This section is to set the usage power and connection status of other devices which connects to the same UPS as NetAgent uses.
